Mission Statement:
The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through
the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active
co-operation, under ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary's and the
Church's work of crushing the head of the serpent and
advancing the reign of Christ.
Other Information:
  • The Legion of Mary, founded in Ireland in 1921, is the largest apostolic
    organization of lay people in the Catholic Church with well over 2 million
    active members all over the world.
  • Membership is open to all members of the Parish.
  • Meetings are held every Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. at 123 Octavia St. in the rear of
    the building.
  • Members go door-to-door once a week trying to reach out of fallen away
    Catholics trying to bring them back into the Church.
